John Schroder, Vice President, Commercial Lending, serves as a trusted long-term financial partner to business owners, executives, and real estate developers. 

John is known for his listening and problem-solving abilities. This allows him to build clear and effective financial strategies for his clients, providing customized business loans and treasury management solutions that streamline operations, reduce risk, and meet overall financial goals while avoiding potential pitfalls.

Throughout his 25+ years as a banking industry professional, John has acquired an expertise in business lending and real estate financing. John also has several years of experience as a small business owner as well as a loan workout specialist.  These diverse experiences and wide knowledge base, coupled with John’s strong relationship skills, uniquely equip him to relate with business executives and assist them with their financial needs both during times of prosperity as well as during times of economic uncertainty.

John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration double major in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and received his MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
