Ed Kinney is SVP, Commercial Lending and works with business owners and other real estate investors. With more than 30 years of commercial lending experience, Ed believes that a long-term relationship with an experienced banker is a powerful resource for businesses of any size. Ed has had the pleasure of serving many borrowers for years. While working together in good times is definitely easier, Ed enjoys the challenge of helping members navigate through tough times and watching them successfully re-emerge. Ed is well-versed in all facets of commercial & industrial and asset-based lending. His real estate lending experience encompasses construction, land and condominium development, single and multi-family residential, office, retail, warehouse and industrial.

Ed has demonstrated his commitment to community and economic development with his past involvement in the Madison Development Corporation Venture/ Debt Fund Loan Committee, thirty years as Vice Chair of the City of Fitchburg Plan Commission, former Chair of City of Fitchburg Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee and member of the City of Fitchburg Affordable Housing Task Force. In 2017 WBD, Inc. recognized Ed for his contributions to small business and the local economy, awarding him the Elite Lender designation.

Ed holds his BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and received his Commercial Lending Diploma from the American Institute of Banking. Ed is a graduate of Edgewood High School.
