Cheryl Paul, SVP – Director of Mortgage Originations, believes in the philosophy of “keep it simple, do it well” which provides a successful environment for the mortgage team and Settlers best Credit Union.  She continually analyzes the mortgage department’s suite of products and processes to ensure a suitable and efficient mortgage experience for our members.

Cheryl started her mortgage industry career in 1994 and remains passionate about the industry and the value of homeownership.  She is very involved with the Mortgage Bankers Association at the local, state and national levels.  In 2013, Cheryl invested that energy and embraced her entrepreneurial spirit by building the Settlers mortgage department.

Cheryl holds an MBA and a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and has achieved the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) Designation.  She also received the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association’s Best in Business Leadership Award, an honor bestowed upon her by her industry peers.
