Cheryl Paul, SVP – Director of Mortgage, employed her “keep it simple, do it well” philosophy when building Sb Mortgage in 2013. The result was a successful environment that ensured a suitable and efficient mortgage experience. Since Settlers joined forces with Wings Financial Credit Union in 2023, Cheryl has played a key role in identifying the most value-added aspects of Settlers and Wings mortgage operations to imagine the best possible offering and experience for our members.

Cheryl started her career in the mortgage industry in 1994. She demonstrates her passion for the industry and the value of homeownership with her involvement with the Mortgage Bankers Association at the local, state, and national levels.

Cheryl holds an MBA and a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and has achieved the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) Designation. She also received the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association’s Best in Business Leadership Award, an honor bestowed upon her by her industry peers.
