Founding CFO to Retire

Heather Longhenry, a Settlers bank senior vice president and the chief financial officer who was an original founder of the local independent bank, will retire in February after more than 11 years with the company.

“Besides her role as CFO, Heather has led Operations, Security, IT, and Compliance at various points.  Heather prepared the original draft of most of the bank’s policies and played a major role in each of the bank’s examinations,” CEO Tom Spitz shared when announcing Heather’s retirement. President David Fink added, “We applaud Heather for her many contributions to Settlers bank and wish her all the best in the adventures to come.”

Heather has been recognized for her innovation and leadership by In Business Magazine as its 2018 Chief Financial Officer of the Year. Heather received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and has completed the Graduate School of Banking, Louisiana State University and the Graduate School of Bank Investments, Darla Moore School of Business.
