Adopt-a-Kettle Goes Virtual

Our bankers love to get out and ring those bells for those in need each holiday season. Like many things in 2020, this year bell ringing for the Salvation Army looked a little different, but Sb bankers still did their part — inviting those they know to make a donation via our virtual little red kettle.  Thank you to everyone who made a donation!

Annual Holiday Give Back 2020 Reaches Many

An annual tradition returns! Elizabeth Blake, Universal Banker II at our Madison West location, coordinated the Holiday Give Back to provide a hot meals and necessities to Madison area homeless. Employees throughout the bank donated items to provide 30 meals and care packages. Thank you, Elizabeth, for coordinating this effort!


Radiothon 2020, Champions for Kids Step Up

Settlers bank proudly served as title sponsor once again this year for the AFCH Radiothon. This year’s radiothon was a huge success with nearly $500,000 raised during the three-day event. Funds raised are used to support Child Life Programs that assist sick kids and their families during hospitalization.

Settlers bank Participates in PPP Loan Program

Settlers bank was proud to serve small businesses impacted by COVID-19. “We’ve helped keep 5,200 people employed at 225 business by making $53 million in paycheck protection loans,” CEO Tom Spitz shared. “We understand that these small businesses are the backbone of our economy and believe that by working together we can keep our economy moving forward,” added Sb President David Fink.


Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Holiday Give Back a Huge Success

Elizabeth Blake, Universal Banker II, coordinated a Holiday Give Back to provide a hot meal and care packages to Madison area homeless. Our Private Banking team and others donated items which allowed Elizabeth to distribute 20 meals and 26 care packages which included snacks and cold weather necessities.

Cinnamon Rolls with Santa, Winterfest Highlight

Sb bankers served up famously fresh-baked “Karen the Cake Lady” cinnamon rolls for community families during the DeForest Winterfest Weekend. Elves and Snowflakes from Ultimate Leap Dance Academy entertained little ones as they eagerly awaited their turn to chat with Santa. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the DeForest Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce.
