Like many things in 2020, this year bell ringing for the Salvation Army looked a little different, but Sb bankers still did their part — inviting those they know to make a donation via our virtual little red kettle. An annual tradition returns! Elizabeth Blake, Universal Banker II at our Madison West location, coordinated the Holiday Give Back to provide a hot meals and necessities to Madison area homeless. Employees throughout the bank donated items to provide 30 meals and care packages. Thank you, Elizabeth, for coordinating this effort!

Settlers bank proudly served as title sponsor once again this year for the AFCH Radiothon. This year’s radiothon was a huge success with nearly $500,000 raised during the three-day event. Funds raised are used to support Child Life Programs that assist sick kids and their families during hospitalization.

Sb bankers served up famously fresh-baked “Karen the Cake Lady” cinnamon rolls for community families during the DeForest Winterfest Weekend. Elves and Snowflakes from Ultimate Leap Dance Academy entertained little ones as they eagerly awaited their turn to chat with Santa. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the DeForest Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce.
